DBH's earning per share rises

Delta Brac Housing Finance Corporation Ltd's earnings per share has increased to taka 47 in the first six months of the current financial year ended December 31, 2009.
The EPS of the company increased by about 88 per cent from the previous year's corresponding period EPS of taka 25 (restated).
It was stated in the results of the half-yearly un-audited financial statements of DBH announced in Dhaka on Tuesday, says a press release.
According to the financial statements, the operating profit of the company stood at taka 343.2 million for the six month period as against taka 216.5 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
As of December 31, 2009, the total funds under management of DBH stood at taka 2,607 crore, customer deposits have increased to taka 1,137 crore and loans and advances increased to taka 1,470 crore.
